Funeral services for Carmen Poret of Hessmer will take place on Monday, May 10, 2010 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer, beginning at 10:30am. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Monday, May 10, 2010 prior to the funeral service, beginning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
Carmen Poret, age 94, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Avoyelles Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward I. Poret parents, Edwin Bordelon Aline Dufour sisters, Anna Bordelon Verdie Bordelon. She is survived by her sons, Edward Keith Poret of Hessmer. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren.
