Funeral services for Carol Ann Anderson of Bunkie will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 beginning at 11am at the New Light Baptist Church in Evergreen with Pastor Gary Ford, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 beginning at 9am until the time of service at the church. Burial will be held at New Light Baptist Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Carol Ann Anderson, age 64, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 at her home in Bunkie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris Augustine, Sr. & Alfrena Johnson Augustine; daughter, Priston Augustine; and brothers, Eugene Augustine & Morris Augustine, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 22 years, Floyd Anderson of Bunkie; children, Virginia Johnson of Bunkie, Clarissa Clay of Baton Rouge, & Samual Hayes, Jr. of Houston; step-children, Rosalind Jackson, Rondrail McQuaine, Latron Hayes, & Dottie Hayes; sisters: Alice Blackman, Doris Hawkins, Gwen Jones, Annetta Capers, & Ida Lavalais; brother, Lonnie Augustine. She also leaves four grandchildren: Jocelyn Johnson, Samera Hayes, Alaina Hayes, Donta Hayes; godson, Okie Benjamin and a host of nieces and nephews.
