Funeral services for Carolyn Sampson James of Mansura will take place at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church of Mansura on Monday, May 13, 2013, beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Martin Laird officiating. Visitation will held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Monday morning from 8:00am to 11:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Carolyn James, age 66, passed away at the Rio Sol Nursing Home of Mansura on Saturday, May 11, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Martin Clara Augustine Sampson. She is survived by her husband, Jerry James of Mansura brothers, Gerard Sampson of Mansura, Landry Sampson of Marksville, John Sampson of Evergreen sisters, Celina Sampson of Mansura, Connie Murray of Mansura, Theresa Pierre of Moreauville halfsister, Linda Dobbins of Evergreen halfbrother, Bernard Dobbins of Evergreen, and Donald Dobbins of Baton Rouge.
