Catherine M. Thomas, age 66, of Marksville, LA, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at her residence in Marksville, LA. She was a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late John Lacarte and the late Hester Lacarte

She is survived by five Daughters, Betty Larry Dupas of Moreauville, LA, Patricia Eric Allen of Marksville, LA, Sara Dupas of Dallas, TX, Lora Jones of Marksville, LA and Angio Eric Augustine of Plano, TX six sons, Paul Regina Thomas, Jr. of Waco, TX, James Thomas of Moreauville, LA, Perry Betty Thomas of Moreauville, LA, Stephen Thomas, Mansura, LA, Derrick Thomas of Mansura, LA and Arthur Lacarte, Marksville, LA four sisters, Rosie Hagger of Port Arthur, TX, Essie David Johnson of Cottonport, LA, Dorothy Hagger of Cottonport, LA and Wilma Hilts of Cottonport, LA two brothers, Bailey Lacarte of Opelousas, LA and Larry Joe Cynthia Lacarte, Evergreen, LA also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the church. Funeral service will be at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 12, 2010, Rev. Chris Augustine officiating. Interment will be at Jerusalem Baptist Cemetery, Cottonport, LA
