Funeral services for Cecile Armand of Mansura will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Tuesday, August 10, 2010, beginning at 2:00pm, with Fr. Anthony Raj Dhamaraj. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Monday, August 9, 2010, from 5:00pm until time of services on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited Monday evening at 6:00pm, and burial services will commence at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery 2.
Cecile Armand, age 93, passed away at her home in Mansura on Monday, August 9, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Agden Armand sons, Daniel, Bobby, Billy Armand parents, Thelisma Annie Juneau Prevot. She is survived by her children, Joanne Tyler of Vick, Rosemary Foster of Deville, Sadie Normand of Baton Rouge, Christine Guyton of Marksville, Ruth Trahan of St. Francisville, Ray Armand of Cottonport, Rodney Armand of Baker, Earl Armand of Port Barre. She is also survived by twentynine grandchildren, a host of greatgrandchildren, a host of greatgreatgrandchildren.
