Cecilia Armand

Cecelia D. Armand, 93, of Cottonport, La., died on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2006, at Rio Sol Nursing Home in Mansura. She was born to Bris and Mathilda Ducote on January 13, 1913 in Mansura, La. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, AARP, Senior Friends, Silver Society and her much loved Po-Ke-No Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Cilton Armand, brothers, Lawrence, Anton and Bris Ducote and sister Esla Moreau. Left behind to cherish her memory are sisters Lily Ducote of Nederland, Tx., and Leona Baglio of Alexandria, La., brother Stanley Ducote and wife Blanche of Nederland, Tx., daughter Grace Armand of Cottonport, La., granddaughter Tracy Dauzat and spouse Chris of Marksville, La. Great granddaughters Holly, Alayna and Cassie Dauzat of Marksville, La., and one great great granddaughter Ali Icard. A wake service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 from 11 am til 2 pm, with a mass at St. Marys Catholic Church at 2 pm. Burial will be in the St. Marys Cemetery under the direction of Escudes Funeral Home, Cottonport, La.
