Charles Baker, Jr.

Funeral services for Charles Edward Baker of Cottonport will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2013 beginning at 2pm at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 beginning at 6pm until 9pm and again on Sunday beginning at 12pm until 2pm at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport. Burial will be held on Monday at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville.
Charles Edward Baker, Jr., age 55, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Veterans Hospital in Pineville. Mr. Baker was a member of the David Haas Memorial United Methodist Church of Bunkie. He worked as an electrical engineer at the Paragon Casino and was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his father Charles Edward Baker, Sr. He is survived by his mother Glenda Nell Williams Baker of Cottonport, sister Betty Diann Poret Greg of Cottonport, three nieces, Kellie Saucier Brian of Plaucheville, Lanie Gauthier of Cottonport and Cassie Poret Lachney of Cottonport. He is also survived by five great nieces, Raegan, Riley Raven Saucier, Mackenzie Gauthier, and Aleks Poret.
