Funeral services for Charles Henry Hernandez, Jr. of Cottonport will take place at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Cheneyville on Friday, June 17, 2011, beginning at 10:00am. Visitations will also take place at the church, prior to the funeral services, beginning at 8:30am. Burial services will commence at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Charles Hernandez, Jr., age 63, passed away at his home in Cottonport on Monday, June 13, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ruth Powell Hernandez, Sr. He is survived by his sons, Charles Hernandez, III, David Hernandez of Florence, CO daughters, Corinna Hernandez of Fort Worth, Maggie Hernandez of Fort Stewart, GA sister, Maggie Hernandez of Rock Falls, IL brother, Louis Hernandez of Marksville. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren.
