Funeral services for Charles Bernard Johnson of Moreauville will take place at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church of Moreauville on Saturday, January 19, 2013, beginning at 1:00pm with Father Martin Laird officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville Saturday morning prior to the funeral, from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
Charles Johnson, age 74, passed away at the Valley View Nursing Home of Marksville on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Simon Virgie Jacob Johnson, Sr. brothers, Simon Johnson, Jr., Vernon Johnson, Sterling Johnson. He is survived by his sisters, Elaine Johnson Hattie Mae Blackman, both of Moreauville brother, Roman Johnson of Moreauville sisterinlaw, Elizabeth Johnson. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family friends.
