Chris Firmin

Funeral services for Chris M. Firmin of Opelousas, formerly of Dupont will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 beginning at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dupont. Visitation will take place Wednesday, October 5, 2016 beginning at 5pm until 11pm with a rosary being recited at 6:30pm at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall and will reopen Thursday morning at 8am until the time of service. Interment will commence at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Chris M. Firmin, age 31, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at The Post Acute Specialty Hospital of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his father, Nolan Julius Firmin, Sr.; brothers, Nolan Firmin, Jr. and Lawrence E. Firmin.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Amber Gauthier of Texas; mother, Irma Ducote Firmin of Dupnt; brother, Dale James Firmin of Dupont.
