A private memorial Mass for Chris Gauthier of Canon, CO, a native of Cottonport, will take place at the St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport. Burial will take place at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery No 2.

Chris Gauthier, age 70, passed away on Monday, May 10th, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Nancy Gauthier; children, Ryan Gauthier and Ingrid Amedee; grandchildren, Adrienne Chaney, Kierstan Arant, Chase Amdee, and Sierra Oubre; siblings, Andree Brouillette, Philip Gauthier, Richard Gauthier, and Guy Gauthier.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Frankie Gauthier; paternal grandparents, A.J. and Eva Gauthier; maternal grandparents, Frank and Florence Caillouet; uncles, A.J. Gauthier, Jr. and Camille Caillouet; aunts, Elsie Coco, Mercier Decuir, Addie Gauthier, Evy Lemoine, and Odessa Ducote.
