Funeral services for Clara Alexander Martin of Cottonport will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Sunday, September 22, 2013, beginning at 11:30am. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport that same morning from 9:00am to 11:30am. Burial will commence at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery of Cottonport.
Clara Martin, age 81, passed away at the Dubuis Hospital of Alexandria on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Martin, Jr. son, John Anthony Martin parents, Octave Elizabeth Ford Alexander and 15 brothers sisters. She is survived by her children, Barbara Martin Payne husband Joseph of Port Arthur, TX, Arthur Ray Martin wife Tracey of Alexandria grandchildren, Damien Payne, Kristin Payne, Jeffrey Payne, Arthur Ray Minor, Wynika Moreira, Peter Martin, III, Faith Martin and a greatgrandchild, Daneya.
Services and arrangement are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
