Clara Mayeux

Clara R. Mayeux passed away at Valley View Healthcare Facility in Marksville, LA on Friday, January 28, 2011.
She was born on June 24, 1920 in Moreauville, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lovell J. Mayeux her parents, Henry J. Rabalais and Aline Coco Rabalais her siblings, Valley J. Rabalais, Henry Rabalais, Malcolm Rabalais, J.C. Rabalais, Gabriel L. Rabalais, and Leila R. Bordelon.
She is survived by her children, Lenore M. Rabalais, and her husband Clyde, of Moreauville Anita M. Saucier, and her husband Vic, of Marksville and her son, Avoyelles Parish Coroner Dr. L. J. Mayeux, and his wife Roseada, of Marksville. She is also survived by six grandchildren six greatgrandchildren and her sister, Cecile R. Boniol, of Arlington, TX.
She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and friend, who was loved by everyone. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Ladies Altar Society, and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011, from 9 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Escud Funeral Home in Moreauville. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon in Sacred Heart Church in Moreauville, followed by burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, under the direction of Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville.
