Funeral service for Clarence Jones, Jr. of Mansura will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Starlight Baptist Church in Marksville with Rev. Van Keith Jones officiating. Burial will be held at the Starlight Baptist Church Cemetery.

Clarence Jones, Jr., age 78, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Millie Jones; children: Clarence Derreck Jones, Phyllis Jones, April Jones, Dr. Angela Lockhart (Aaron), and Aria Jones; siblings, Hilda Houston, Kelly Ray Jones, Raymond Jones, and Mava Jones; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Jones, Sr. and Ethel Jones; brother, Ferguson Jones; grandson, Ontario. 

Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 11:00am on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Starlight Baptist Church in Marksville.
