Funeral services for Clarence A. Roy of Longbridge will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Visitation will begin at 1pm until the time of service at 3pm. Interment will commence in the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Clarence Roy, age 89, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Lafayette General Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas & Estelle B. Roy; former wife, Dorothy Nell Frost Roy; sister, Isma Roy Escude and brother, Thomas Roy.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Grace Breaux Roy of Longbridge; children, Sherman D. Roy of Arvada, CO, Richard Roy of Lake Charles, Hanna Roy Langston of
Carencro, Jessica Roy Dolecheck of Monroe, Rena Roy of Lafayette and Kelly W. Castle of Addis; 10 grandchildren, Christina Langston Dupuis and Sarah Langston both of Carencro, Morgan Roy and Justin Roy both of Arvada, CO, Kyle Dolecheck, Rachel Dolecheck, Garrett Dolecheck all of Monroe, Ki Knott of Plaucheville, Lexi Castle of Addis, and Camden Roy of Lake Charles. He is also survived by his 3 great-grandsons, Charlie Langston, Lucas Dupuis, Jr. and Brody Dupuis.
