Clelie Hoffman

Clelie Joy Stein Hoffman, beloved mother of Donna Sue Allen of Plaucheville, Gerald Lande Hoffman, Jr., George Rande Hoffman, both of Houston, and the late Clelie Joy Hoffman Shiell also raised Clelie Joy Scott of Mandeville, Jeffrey Lyall Shiell of Dallas, and Sean Gerald Hoffman of Tulane University. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lande Hoffman, Sr., and her parents, George and Violet Berniece White Stein, all of New Orleans. She is survived by her sister, Carol Jane Hopson of New Orleans and her grandchildren, Amy Leigh Dangerfield, Ashley L. Ellis, Alicia E. Mabus, Austin, Michaela, Trinity, Miley, Ryleigh, Chance, Jevaisben. She is also survived by six other grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren, nieces nephews.
She is a native of New Orleans, attended LSU of Baton Rouge Tulane University, Worthy Matron of Miriam Chapter 17 Order of Eastern Star. She also helped found the Hilda Knaff School for the Deaf in Metairie.
