Clifton Roy

Memorial services for Clifton "Cliff" Roy of Plaucheville will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 beginning at 11am at the Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura, Saturday morning at 8am until the time of service. Burial will be held at New Life Baptist Cemetery in Evergreen. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Clifton "Cliff" Roy, age 87, passed away at his home in Plaucheville. He was a Deacon and a Mason at New Life Baptist Church in Evergreen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse & Mary Antoine Roy; his wife, Mary Lee Friels Roy; daughter, Judy Roy; son, Brian Roy; brothers, Larry Roy, J.C. Roy, Curtis Roy, Oliver Roy; and sister, Lillie Mae Louise.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Elizabeth Guidry of Texas, Lucille Foster of Marksville, Nellie Mae Washington of Marksville, Patsy Roy of Mansura, & Yvonne Perry of Hessmer; sons: Jerome Roy of Plaucheville, Joseph Roy of Mansura, Philip Roy of Mansura, & Bruce Roy of Mansura; brothers: Charlie Roy, Tommy Roy, Weiry Roy, James Roy; sisters: Malena Hartford, Willie Mae Hatch, Elvira Roy, Mary Louise Roy, and Linda Roy. He also leaves twenty four grandchildren, sixty two great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
