Cora Ducote

Funeral services for Cora Marie Ducote of Hamburg will take place on Monday, September 7, 2009 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville at 1:00pm. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Moreauville on Sunday, September 6, 2009 beginning at 2:00pm, and closing at midnight. Visitations will resume on Monday morning at 8:00am and last until time of the funeral. Cora Ducote, age 94, passed away at Bayou Chateau Nursing Center on Saturday, September 5, 2009. She is preceded in death by her; 1st husband, Blume Mayeaux; 2nd husband, Alvin Ducote; parents, Florien Norma Dupuy Jeansonne. She is survived by her; sons, Donald Ducote of Hamburg, Ray Mayeaux of Simmesport, John Mayeaux of Simmesport; sister, Beatrice Smith of Simmesport; brother, Sidney Jeansonne of Walker. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren. Services and funeral arrangements are under the directions of Escude Funeral Home.
