Cora Mary Moreau

Visitation for Cora Mary (Carmello) Moreau of Cottonport will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport.

Cora Moreau, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Benjamin R. “Cowboy” Moreau of Evergreen; children, Penny Bernard of Arnaudville, and Oscar Richard of Cottonport; three grandchildren, Trent Smith, Ashley Richard, and Trevor Richard and five great-grandchildren, Emmalyn Guillory, Cypress Smith, Hazel Smith, Wren Smith, and Laila Whatley; siblings, Leona (Elbert) McLaughlin, Cathy (Steven) Perry, Peter Carmello, Augustine (Eveline) Carmello, Paul Carmello, Johnny Carmello, Harold (Vickie) Carmello, and Albert Carmello; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Dylan Bernard; her parents, Cisto and Maggie Carmello; her siblings, Tebo Carmello, Tony “Valentine” Carmello, Joseph Carmello, Phillip Carmello, Lucille Mose, and Francis Robin.
