Funeral services for Cyrique Laborde C.D. of Hessmer will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer, beginning at 10:00am, with Fr. Edwin RodriguezHernandez officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Friday, March 18, 2011, from 4:00pm until time of services on Saturday. Burial services will commence at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.
Cyrique Laborde, age 80, passed away at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital on Thursday, March 17, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fabien Rowena Ducote Laborde sisters, Mable Ducote, Cecile Lambert, Agnes Carroll, Rita Firmin brothers, Dallas Laborde, Cyril Laborde, Lawrence F. Laborde, Lonnie Laborde. He is survived by his Geneva Laborde of Hessmer son, Rayford Laborde of Hessmer daughter, Susan Poche of Hessmer brother, Daniel Laborde of Moncla sister, Cecile Lambert of Hessmer grandchildren, Christy Kevin Marcotte, Derrick Lacy Laborde, Brad Courtney Poche, Ashley Gerard Plauche greatgrandchildren, Tara Laborde, Luke Marcotte, Isabella Poche, Brianna Laborde.
