Funeral Mass for Dale "Wolfman" Bordelon of Moreauville will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 beginning at 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville with Fr. Jose Pallipurath officiating. Visitation will begin on Friday, August 3, 2018 beginning at 5pm until 10pm at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville and will resume Saturday morning at 8am until the time of service. Rosary wake service will be held at 6:30pm Friday evening. Entombment will be in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Dale "Wolfman" Bordelon, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonis & Grace Bordelon.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Janice Mayeux Bordelon of Moreauville; son, Ashley Joseph Bordelon of Moreauville; daughter, Jessica (Douglas) Hayes of Mansura; grandson, Joseph Hayes; sister, Bernadine Coco of Simmesport; brothers, Warren Paul Bordelon of Moreauville, Ronald (Rose) Bordelon of Moreauville, & Raymond (Carolyn) Bordelon of Mansura.
Dale graduated from Moreauville High School in 1973 where he was State Champion in discus throw. He built a career with John Deere, Vaccaro Logging, & Scott Tractor Company. In 1977 after marrying Janice Mayeux and settling down on the banks of Bayou de Glaise, he had a daughter and son. Wolfman was an avid sportsmen; he enjoyed fishing & hunting for ducks, squirrel, deer, turkey, & alligators. He opened a successful alligator, pecan & feed business. He enjoyed joking, cooking, LSU, sweets, and woodworking with his grandson. He loved to keep the old traditions going. His family and friends will miss him dearly.
