Daniel Creppel

Funeral services for Daniel Alphonse Creppel of Hessmer will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer on Saturday, March 16, 2013, beginning at 10:00am with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Friday, March 15, 2013, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Saturday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.
Daniel Creppel, age 63, passed away surrounded by his family at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital on Saturday, March 9, 2013. He was a native of Lafitte, LA and a resident of Hessmer for the past 8 years. He was a beloved brother, uncle, godfather, and pappy. He though he didnt have any children of his own, he was a father to many. He was a caring, loving man who was into his Native American heritage, and a firm believer in his faith. Though many will remember him as a jokester, he touched all the lives of those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Clemence Creppel, also known as Mr. Mrs. Skinny brothers, Milton Coon Creppel, August Amedele Creppel, Isaac Creppel, Lil Abbie Creppel sister, Celestine Creppel. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Grace B. Creppel of Hessmer brothers, Clarence Creppel of Lafitte, Leonce Creppel of Avondale sister, Augustine Ranches of Lafitte. He was pappy to Seth Guillot, Sierra Saige Creppel, Brooke Creppel Mahens, Codi Creppel, Skakita Floelich. He is also survived by many godchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
