Darlene Dean, age 70, passed away at her home in Cottonport on Tuesday, April 2^nd, 2024. A memorial gathering for Darlene will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Friday, April 12th, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a memorial service at 6:30pm that evening..
 
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jessica R. Dean of Athens, GA and Deborah L. Turk; and "son-in-love", Rushun Caine Turk of Cottonport; grandchildren, Jacob Joseph Turk, Bradley & Jillian Nevaeh Quintana, Sydney Lynn Turk, and Alexandra Roseann Dean; and one great-grandchild, Sebastian Caine Quintana. She is also survived by her brothers, Dolan R. Sittig of Las Vegas, NV and Wayne Sittig of Bogart, GA. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby E. Dean; parents, Ubald C.T. Sittig & Rosa Mae Fontenot Barnes; her sister, Kathleen “Kathy” Sittig; and her brothers, Lammy J. Sittig, George Sittig, and Rodney J. Sittig.
