Darrell James Simon of Plaucheville, age 52, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at his home. Visitations will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Saturday, October 17, 2009, beginning at 2:00pm with a wake service at 3:00pm. Visitations will end at 5:00pm. Darrell Simon is survived by his; wife, Ella Lemoine Simon of Plaucheville; parents, Leo Bertha Simon of Lafayette; son, DJ Simon of Monroe; daughters, Kristal Simon Kristin Simon of Lafayette; brother, Ted Simon of Monroe; sister, Darline of Lafayette. He is also survived by his two grandchildren. Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
