David Prevot

Funeral services for David Martin Prevot will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Dan Corkery officiating. Burial will be held at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Mansura. Arrangements are held under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Mansura.

Mr. Prevot, age 54, of Alexandria, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 at Grace Home Hospice.

He is preceded in death by his father, Augustine Joseph Prevot mother, Willie Mae Boyer Prevot and sister, Barbara Madison.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Prevot of Pineville son, David Daisy Prevot of Shreveport 6 brothers, Rodney Prevot, Kenneth Dianne Prevot and Vincent Prevot, all of Mansura, Edward Prevot of New Orleans, Melvin Prevot of Morgan City and Arnold Fredna Prevot of Mansura five sisters, Phyllis Walker of Hessmer, Donna Mickens of Alexandria, Brenda Prevot of Mansura, Delores Prevot of Mansura and Cynthia Oscar Lavalais of Pontiac, Michigan numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 4 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Escude Funeral Home of Mansura with a wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation will reopen the following day at 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
