Dennis Hess

Funeral services for Dennis Anthony Hess of Big Bend will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 beginning at 10am at Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport. Visitation will also take place at the funeral home on Friday, September 11, 2015 beginning at 5pm and will remain open all night until time of service the following day. Burial will be held at the Bayou Des Glaise Cemetery at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Dennis Anthony Hess, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Grace Home in Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his wife, Therressia Hess; mother, Velma Hess; father, Joseph Hess; brothers, Bobby Hess and Raymond Hess; sister, Bonnie Hess.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Johnny and Kim Hess of Fifthward, Joshua Hess of Simmesport, Jason and Faye Hess of Simmesport; daughter, Tiffany Hess of Big Bend; sisters, Doris Carter, Gail Parker and Nelda Strohchein all of Big Bend, Mary Dupuy of Marksville, brothers, Phillip Hess and Rodney Hess both of Denham Springs; Dennis is also survived by his grandchildren, Sarha, Justin, Kelsey, Skylar, Payton, Chase, Sinead, Chelsey and Katrina; great-grandchildren, Sailor and Adalynn.
