Dianna Mayeux

Funeral Mass for Dianna Mayeux of Simmesport will begin at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport with Fr. Paul officiating. Entombment will be held at the Christ the King Mausoleum.

Dianna Mayeux, age 83, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 in Alexandria.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Joseph Mayeux (Renee), Keith Mayeux (Sandra), Cynthia Gremillion (Abbey), Kenneth Mayeux (Connie), and Melissa Mayeaux (Larry); 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Oswald Vead, Joseph Shefford Vead, Daisy Gagnard, Anne Gregoire, and Violet Bordelon. Her best friend, Buddy.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers: Joseph Mayeux, Keith Mayeux, Kenneth Mayeux, Randy Mayeux, Cameron Mayeux, and Josh Mayeux; and crossbearer will be Caleb Mayeux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Mayeux; her parents, Lonis & Irma Vead; grandchild, Larry Mayeaux, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Emmitt Guillot & John Guillot, III; paternal grandparents, Pierre & Florence Vead; maternal grandparents, Austin & Marie Guillory.

Visitation will begin at 5:00pm until 10:00pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport and rosary prayer service will be at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume at 8:00am until 10:45am on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport.
