Funeral services for Dolcina Moreau of Venice will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Dwight de Jesus officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Simmesport that morning beginning at 7:00am with a rosary at 10:00am. Burial will commence at the Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.
Dolcina Moreau, age 71, passed away at the Ochsner Foundation Hospital on Sunday, August 11, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alcindor Augustine Crepelle. She is survived by her husband, Hubert Moreau of Venice children, Allen Moreau wife Tammy of Boothville, Sophia Moreau of Lumberton, MS, and Sandra Moreau of Rockport, TX sisters, Odelia Newman of Gretna, and Felicia Johnson of Prairieville brothers, J.J. Crepelle of Buras, Gus Crepelle of Oak Grove, and Michel Crepelle. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren five greatgrandchildren.
