Funeral services for Donna Lemoine Kimble of Baton Rouge will take place at Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport on Monday, January 27, 2014 beginning at 11am, with Fr. Daniel Corkery officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport on Sunday, January 26, 2014 beginning at 5pm until 10pm, with a rosary being recited at 6pm and will continue Monday morning at 8am. Burial services will commence at the Christ the King Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Donna Kimble, age 56, passed away at Baton Rouge General Hospital on Thursday, January 23, 2014. Known by all as a kindhearted woman with unfailing generosity, she devoted her life to caring for others. She was employed as a nurse at Pointe Coupee Hospital for 19 years before moving to Baton Rouge, where she worked in childcare. She will forever be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and loyal friend.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sidney Lemoine brother, Vernon Lemoine daughter, Ashley Ann Kimble and son, Levy Jarrod Kimble.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Betty Hudgens husband Joe of Simmesport daughter Chantel Adams husband Mark of Prairieville, grandchildren Elizabeth Emily Adams of Prairieville, and daughterinlaw Danielle Kimble of Sulphur.
