Donnie Ray Parker

Funeral service for Donnie Ray Parker of New Orleans will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Little Zion Baptist Church in Innis. Visitation will begin 9:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Little Zion Baptist Cemetery in Innis.  

Donnie Ray Parker, age 64, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the Southeastern Veterans Hospital in New Orleans. Donnie served honorably in the Air Force from 1979 to 1999 having a distinguished recorded adorned with numerous medals and ribbons for his service.  

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kisha Parker of Houston; brother, Gregory Parker of New Orleans; aunt, Christine Lanehart of Lettsworth, aunt, Betty Smith of Innis, uncle, Carey Lee Smith of Houston, uncle, Sidney Smith of Houston, niece, Gregorianna Brown, and a host of loving cousins and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. Parker and Eva Mae Townsend.
