Funeral services for Dora Wells will be held at Old Zion Baptist Church in Cottonport on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 11 a.m. Visitation will held at the Old Zion Baptist Church in Cottonport the same day at 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Services under the direction of Escude' Funeral Home of Mansura. She was preceded in death by her; sister, Hilda Wells, father Davis Wells, mother Emma Washington Wells. She is survived by her; three children, Angela Wells of Cottonport, Batara Jackson of Cottonport, Corey Wells of Cottonport. Also her brothers sisters; Rummel Gaines of Alexandria, Ogden Gaines of Cottonport, David Wells of Cottonport, Billy Wells of Cottonport, Thelma Tippet of Alexandria, Lillie Williams of Alexandria, Daisy Kelly of Oakdale, Velma Wells of Cottonport, Nita Jefferson of New Orleans, Martha Ayala of Corpus Christi,TX. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
