Funeral services for Dorabelle Celeste Lemoine of Plaucheville will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Sunday, January 9, 2011, beginning at 1:00pm. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Saturday, January 8, 2011, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and will resume at 9:00am Sunday morning. Burial services will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Mausoleum.
Dorabelle Lemoine, age 89, passed away at the Rapides Regional Medical Center of Alexandria on Saturday, January 8, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Foster J Lemoine parents, George B Ethel Plauche Couvillion. She is survived by her children, Rodney Lemoine of Baton Rouge, Kerry Lemoine of Plaucheville, Gerard Lemoine of Plaucheville, Leola Melancon of Plaucheville, Patricia Santolucito of Lake Charles, Susan Haney of Lake Charles, Debra Lemoine of Moreauville, Mary Mayeux of Plaucheville sister, Nita English of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren eighteen greatgrandchildren.
Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
