Funeral services for Ms. Doris Bordelon of Moreauville will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 beginning at 10am at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 beginning at 8am until 10am at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville. Burial will be at St. Peters Cemetery in Bordelonville.
Ms. Doris Bordelon, age 89, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Avoyelles Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wyndham Corey Bordelon, two sisters, Rena Laborde Ewell Bordelon, and one brother, Lamie Normand.
She is survived by one niece, Marla Brownhill of Victoria, British Columbia and two nephews, Chris Normand of Marksville and Errol Laborde of New Orleans. She will be missed dearly by family, friends, and other relatives.
