Funeral services for Doris Dupont Martinez of Simmesport will be held at the Methodist Protestant Church of Lettsworth on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Glen Mayeux officiating. Visitations will also be held at the church, prior to funeral service, from 9:00am to 11:00am. Burial services will commence at the Christ the King Mausoleum.
Doris Martinez, age 67, passed away at the Bayou Chateau Nursing Center of Simmesport on Sunday, November 6, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Margarito Martinez parents, William Idell Michel Dupont. She is survived by her children, John Strong of Simmesport, Glynn Strong of Simmesport, Sheryl Harmond of Mansura. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren three greatgrandchildren.
