A wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, greatgreatgrandmother, sister and friend. She died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Hessmer Nursing Home.
Services will take place, 12:00 p.m. Tuesday July 26, 2011 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Father Chad Partain officiating. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Moreauville.
She was 91 years old and a long time resident of Long Bridge and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Mansura where she was a Eucharistic Minister.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. funeral mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. officiated by father Chad Partain. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Moreauville.
Survivors include sons, Patrick Saucier and wife Cynthia of Long Bridge, Benny P. Saucier Jr. and wife Yulia of Baton Rouge daughters, Bernadette Coghlan and husband Stephen of Baton Rouge and Angela Lemoine and husband Stanley of Mansura one soninlaw, Aubrey Lacombe of Mansura.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren and their spouses, Tracy Gaspard and Kerry, Scott Lacombe and Karen, Todd Saucier and Yvonne, Ashley Ducote and Shane, Jason Coghlan, Keisha Lee Shivor and Douglas, Laurie Dauzat and Larry of Marksville and Alex Rychkov of Baton Rouge fifteen greatgrandchildren, Jean Paul, Jacques and Elizabeth Gaspard, Brittani and Madison Lacombe, Justin and Ethan Saucier, Amelia Grace, Alex Bennedict, and Celia Blair Shivor, Dylan, Mia Ducote, Sophie Rose, and Alli Marie Dauzat and one greatgreatgrandchild, Evan Saucier.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny P. Saucier, Sr., a daughter, Sandra Lacombe, a grandson, Stephen B. Coghlan, Jr., parents, Jean and Angela Lemoine Ricaud, six sisters, Harriet Ricaud Dufour, Mercedes Ricaud Larkin, Sadie Ricaud Bordelon, Effie Ricaud Juneau, Eugenie Ricaud Rabalais, Annette Ricaud Bordelon, two brothers, Dennis and Andrew Ricaud.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services in St. Paul Catholic Church in Mansura.
