Doris Voiselle

Funeral services for Doris Voiselle of Simmesport will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016 beginning at 1:30pm with a rosary to be cited at 1pm at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport. Burial will commence in Christ the King Catholic Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Doris Voiselle, age 87, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Bayou Chateau Nursing Home in Simmesport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Voiselle; parents, Francis & Florence Firmin Smith; sister, Bessie Firmin; Great-grandchild, Dylan Cashio.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Joan Cashio (Sammy) and Janet Thevis both of Simmesport; son, Terry Voiselle of Simmesport; sister, Mary Voiselle of Simmesport; brothers, Huey Smith of Baton Rouge and James M. Smith of Simmesport. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
