Dorothy Ducote

Funeral services for Dorothy L. Ducote of Mansura will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 beginning at 11am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Paul Cemetery in Mansura. Visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura beginning on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 5pm until 9pm and will resume Tuesday morning at 8am. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Dorothy L. Ducote, age 80, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Riviere De Soleil Nursing Home in Mansura. She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Ducote; parents, Elmore & Eugenia Laborde; & brother, Harvin Laborde.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lance P. Ducote of Mansura; daughter, Barbara Johnson (Charles) of Cottonport; brothers, Percy Laborde (Lorraine Ann) of Cottonport & Charles Laborde (Wanda) of Mansura; sister, Mary Humphries of Hessmer. She also leaves two grandchildren: Raymy Johnson (Heather) of Mississippi & Amie Smith (Adam) of Cottonport; and five great-grandchildren.
