Dorothy Ducote

Funeral services for Dorothy Lachney Ducote of Hessmer will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 beginning at 11am at the Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Rev. Bobby Cazalot officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escude Funeral Home in Mansura on Sunday, March 29, 2015 beginning at 5pm continuing all night until the time of service on Monday. Burial will be held at the St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Hessmer.
Dorothy Lachney Ducote, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Hessmer Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayonel & Harriette Lachney; her husband, Wilfred A. Ducote, Sr.; and son, Wilfred A. Ducote, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Judy Cazelot (Bobby) of Hessmer; sons: Michael P. Ducote (Beverly) of Fifthward, Richard J. Ducote (Jing) of Manassas, VA, and Rodney L. Ducote (Brenda) of Houston, TX; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
