Dorothy Thevenot

Funeral services for Dorothy Thevenot of Cottonport will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church at 11:00am. Visitations will take place at the Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport on Friday, August 28, 2009 beginning at 5:00pm, and will finish at 9:00pm. Visitations will re-open the following morning and last until time of the funeral service. A rosary will be held Friday evening at 7:00pm. Dorothy Thevenot, age 77, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 27, 2009. She is preceded in death by her; husband, Stuart A. Thevenot; parents, Sampson Dubroc, Sr. Rose Smith Dubroc; brother, Sampson Dubroc, Jr.; grandson, Jamie Dupuis. She is survived by her; daughters, Lisa Bordelon of Cottonport, Kay Lewis of Cottonport, Carlene Gauthier of Cottonport, Ann T. Lacombe of Cottonport, Gail T. Andress of Cottonport, Nicole Thevenot of Cottonport; sons, Michael L. Thevenot of Cottonport, Anthony Thevenot of Baton Rouge; sisters, Theresa Sue Bordelon of Marksville, Rosella Dubroc of Metairie. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren ten great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be, Jeffery Thevenot, Chris Thevenot, Stephen Thevenot, Jason Lacombe, Nicholas Descant, Clay Descant and Josh Thevenot. Crossbearer will be Lea Rose Bordelon.
