Funeral Mass for Dottie L. Moreau will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport on Saturday, December 28, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Father Kurian Zachariah officiating. Burial will follow in the Christ the King Catholic Church Mausoleum.

 Dottie L. Moreau, age 95, of Simmesport, passed away at Bayou Chateau Nursing Home in Simmesport on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Mike Moreau of Dequincy, Eric Moreau of Simmesport, and Ray Moreau of Moreauville; sisters, Billie Scallan of Simmesport, and Pat Dauzart of Baton Rouge; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Merring Moreau; her parents, Leonard, Sr. and Minnie Hetherwick Dauzart; her brothers, Leonard Dauzart, Jr., James Dauzart, and LJ Dauzart.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am-10:00am, on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport, LA.
