Graveside services for Douglas Wayne Meyers, Sr. of Alexandria will take place at the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery of Goudeau on Monday, November 19, 2012, beginning at 1:00pm with Brother Charles Franks officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Monday morning, from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
Douglas Meyers, Sr., age 55, passed away at the Rapides Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Meyers parents, Hillery Emma Ruth Franks Meyers, Sr. brother, Jr. Meyers niece, Tabitha Dubroc. He is survived by his children, Douglas Meyers, Jr. Brittany Meyers, both of Alexandria sisters, Joyce Dubroc, Anita Bruner, Debra Aymond, JoAnn Meyers, all of Alexandria. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
