Douglas Vead

Funeral services for Douglas Vead of Franklinton will be held at the Bayou Des Glaises Baptist Church of Bordelonville on Thursday, July 21, 2011, beginning at 10:00am with Rev. Winford Bellguard officiating. Visitations will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at 4:00pm and will continue until the time of services on Thursday. Burial services will commence at the Bayou Des Glaises Baptist Cemetery.
Douglas Vead, age 70, passed away at his home on Monday, July 18, 2011. He is preceded in death by his wife Euna Mae Vead parents, Simon Edolie Graham Vead brithers, Emile and Lloyd Vead sisters, Linda Ortego and Brenda Carlson. He is survived by his daughters, Vicky Rogers of New Iberia, Sandra Cox of Folsom son, Joey Vead of Broussard brothers, Donald Vide of Moreauville, Simon Vead of Simmesport, Jeffery Vead of Lafayette and nine grandchildren.
