Earl Harrell

Funeral services for Earl Harrell of Houston will take place at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of Simmesport on Saturday, May 5, 2012, beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Henry R. Wright, IV officiating. Visitations will also be held at the church, prior to the funeral services, from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Burial services will commence at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Cemetery.
Earl Harrell, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Harrell, Jr. Elonora Jones Harrell brother, James Harrell. He is survived by his wife, Alvah Dyer Harrell of Houston daughters, Madeline H. Buchanan and husband Leonard, Jearyl H. Collier and husband Robert, Simone Harrell James and husband Calvin, all of Baton Rouge stepdaughter, Charyl James of Houston sisters, Grace H. Brown and husband Clifton of Dallas, Queen H. Alexander and husband Joseph of Moreauville brothers, Douglas Harrell and wife Bernadette, Fredrick Harrell and wife Josephine, both of Simmesport. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, extended family friends.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
