Earl Jacobs

Funeral services for Earl "Dunnie" Joseph Jacobs, Sr. will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 beginning at 11:00am in the Starlight Baptist Church in Hickory Hill. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 beginning at 5:00pm until 9:00pm and from 9:00am Saturday morning until time of service. Burial will take place in the Starlight Baptist Church Cemetery.
"Dunnie", 73, resident of Marksville, died November 23, 2016 at the Oakhaven Community Care Center in Centerpoint.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clordy and Clara (Desselle) Jacobs; brother, Alfred Jacobs and a grandchild, Enjolie Jones.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Dawn Pendergraff Jacobs of Marksville; daughters, Nichole Jacobs of Alexandria, Jasmine Jacobs of Marksville and Rosalie Grant of Kansas City, Mo.; sons, Preston Jacobs of Marksville, Earl Jacobs, Jr. of Overland Park, Ks, Paul Jacobs of Colorado; sisters, Anita Jacobs Holley, Christine Gilbert and Florence Jacobs all of Flint, Mi.; brothers, Gilbert Jacobs, Gaston "Suman" Jacobs and Clordy Jacobs, Jr. all of Flint, Mi. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Escude' Funeral Home of Mansura
