Funeral services Earl Joseph Roy of Hessmer will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer on Saturday, November 13, 2010, beginning at 12:30pm, with Fr. Edwin RodriguezHernandez officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Friday, November 12, 2010, from 5:00pm to 11:00pm, and will resume Saturday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.
Earl Roy, age 73, passed away at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital of Alexandria on Thursday, November 11, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Betty Roy of Hessmer sons, David Roy wife Shirlene of Hessmer, Joey Roy of Mansura, Johnny Roy wife Elaine of Bunkie daughters, Cynthia Vead husband Dale of Hessmer, Celia Juneau husband Rickey of Hessmer, Lisa Mose husband Neil of Hessmer, Elizabeth Gauthier husband Joey of Mansura, Kathy Smith husband Scott of Hessmer sisters, Geneva Smith, Romona Gauthier. He is also survived by his twentyfour grandchildren eleven greatgrandchildren.
