Funeral Mass for Earline Mary Ducote of Hessmer will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer on Wednesday, March 1st, 2023 beginning at 1:00pm with Rev. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Mausoleum.

Earline Ducote, age 90, passed away at the Hessmer Nursing Home on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Rose Mary Bordelon Mayeaux; her dear nieces and nephews who she helped raise as if they were her own; Susan Descant Normand, Earl Patrick Descant, Tammy Descant Manuel, Cathy Charrier Lacombe, Betty Bardwell, Carol Descant, Mary Bardwell, Audric Paul Bordelon, II, Richard Bordelon, and Robert Bordelon. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews; numerous great-grand nieces and nephews; her godchild, Tanner Normand.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivy Ducote; parents, Maurice and Celina Aymond Bordelon; sister, Catherine Charrier; brother, Audric Bordelon, Sr.; nephew, Stanley Charrier, Jr.; and her godchild, Charlene Descant.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am on Wednesday, March 1st, 2023 at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura until 1:00pm.
