Edna Ortego

Funeral services for Edna Duplechin Ortego of Houma, formerly of Plaucheville, will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, beginning at 1:00pm, with Fr. Anthony Dhamaraj officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport, prior to the funeral services, beginning at 10:30am. Burial services will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum of Plaucheville.
Edna Ortego, age 96, passed away at the Heritage Manor of Houma on Sunday, November 28, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Ortego parents, Edmond Josephine Broussard Duplechin brothers, Clinton Duplechin, Clifford Duplechin, Norris Duplechin sisters, Flovia Dupont, Thelma Juneau, Ruby Ducote. She is survived by her daughter, Vauncille Armand grandchildren, Penny Stelly, Timothy Armand, Matthew Armand greatgrandchildren, Claire Stelly, Paige Armand, Maggie Armand, Abby Armand, Elise Armand, Emile Armand.
