Edna Rabalais

Funeral services for Edna Mary Rabalais of Plaucheville will be held on Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville, beginning at 11:00am. Visitations will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, and will resume Monday morning at 9:30am. A rosary will be recited at 4:00pm Sunday evening and burial services will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery after the funeral.
Edna Rabalais, 92, passed away at the Lane Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 5, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lemie John Rabalais parents, Oliver Amy Scallan sisters, Nora Soldani, Delva Soldani, Hazel Skeen. She is survived by her sons, Bruce Rabalais and wife Nancy of Baton Rouge, Gregory Rabalais of Ethel, Kerry Rabalais and wife Laura of Ridgeland, MS daughters, Jean Annie Bernard and husband Percy of Broussard, Sharlyne Reno and husband Anthony of Ethel. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren.
