Edna Rachal

Services for Mrs. Edna Marie Rachal, of Alexandria, will be at 10:00am on Friday, December 31, 2010 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Hessmer with Father Edwin Rodriguez officiating. Burial services will commence at the St. Alphonsus Mausoleum in Hessmer under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Mrs. Edna Marie Rachal, 88, passed away at the Lexington Nursing Home on December 29, 2010.
Survivors include her husband Clarence Rachal of Alexandria two daughters, Yvonne Juneau of Lafayette and Deanna Nugent of Alexandria two brothers, Samuel Daigrepont of Hickory Hill and Louis Daigrepont of Baton Rouge sister, Mabel Titmus of Alexandria four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Albea Daigrepont, mother, Ethel Ducote Daigrepont, four brothers, Houston Daigrepont, Dallas Daigrepont, Lindsey Daigrepont and Kelly Daigrepont and sister, Eunice Peterson.
Visitations will be Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura from 5:00pm until 10:00pm and will reopen the following day Friday, December 31, 2010 at 8:00am. A Wake will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 5:30pm.
