Edward Aurelian Coco Mansura, La. -Services for Edward Aurelian Coco will be held at 11 am at St. Paul Catholic Church in Mansura, Louisiana. A walking procession to St Paul Catholic Church will begin at 10:30 Thursday September 21 following a 9:30 am eulogy and prayer service under the direction of Escude Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 10 pm on Wednesday September 20 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Edward Coco, age 66, died on Monday September 18, 2006. He was born July 25, 1940 in Mansura, Louisiana, and spent most of his glorious life in his home town. He was a cotton ginner in his early years and owner of Avoyelles Tire Center in his latter years. He was an active civic and business leader. Edward was hard working dedicated man who touched countless lives. He will be sadly missed by all those blessed by his kindness and generosity. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jean Coco and six children Matthew Coco, Nicholas Coco, Gretchen McMonigle, Molly Benoit, Sarah Coco and Margaret Coco. His four sisters Laurie Ranheim of Mansura, Louisiana, Patricia Martin of Lafayette, Louisiana, Suzanne Madoc-Jones of Cape Cod Massachusetts and Merrill Rush of Bar Harbor Maine; six grandchildren. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Pinecrest Developmental center at Pineville Louisiana.
